Underground Utilities
The utilities below grade have to be right before anything goes on top of them. GRH Construction delivers storm, sanitary, and water systems from trench to tie-in: we excavate, bed, and backfill; licensed utility partners set the pipe and make the tie-ins; and everything is inspected before surfaces close over it.
Scope of work
- Storm drainage piping and structures
- Sanitary sewer mains and laterals
- Domestic and fire water lines
- Trenching, bedding, and backfill — self-performed by GRH
- Pipe setting and tie-ins — by licensed utility partners
- Testing, inspection, and as-built coordination
We locate before we dig, bed and backfill to spec, and coordinate inspections so utilities are signed off before paving or flatwork covers them. Doing it in the right order keeps you from opening up finished surfaces later.
Right the first time, because it gets buried
Underground work is unforgiving: once it is covered, fixing it means tearing up finished surface. We open and prep every trench ourselves, bring in licensed utility partners to set and test the pipe, and document as-builts so what is in the ground matches the plans.
